Sister Dimond ain't Creole sorry she barely can do english yet alone Espanol

Happy Late EASTER lovers!  I hope it was so special!  This was for sure the most special Easter that I have ever had in my life.  I really made it a goal to just DIVE into learning more about my Savior, and his life, and I can honestly say I have never felt closer to him.  Sister Bingham and I brought Jesus the Christ in the car with us, and while she was driving I would just read it out loud.  Hahaha!  Only the missionary life.  But honestly that book has changed my life.  AH THIS GOSPEL IS AMAZING.  I just get giddy thinking about how much I learned this week, and the new love and respect that I have developed for Jesus Christ. I feel so so loved and blessed and understood and protected.  We are so lucky to be apart of the gospel, for reals though.

Well this week was another great one: CUZ DUH

-We got to go help out at the Young Women’s activity for our ward. It’s weird to be like one of those "guest speakers" now ya know?  Like I swear I am still just 16, like one of them.  Nope.

-We had transfers and so the other sisters we live with changed, AND I’VE GOT SISTER ROSARIO, another native back in the house! SO HALLELUJAH!  Hahah.  She can help my little gringa soul out.

-The bugs are starting to come back out.  Knock on wood, but my blood must suck because they never come after me, but poor little Sister Bingham gets attacked.  Hahaha.  She basically drinks Benadryl!

-Knocked into a creole speaking guy.  We tried to help the creole elders out and teach this guy the restoration. We thought he was following our English pretty good, but when we tried to ask him if he would be home the next day so other missionaries could come back and teach him he said, "Yes I will be home yesterday" and then as we were walking away he said, "have a good say sir.”   So yeah, he probably didn’t get it.  Just a good seed planted.  Sorry guy.  The gift of tongues ain’t that real.

-Well best part of the week was when my best friend (okay I love this area and my ward too much, I can't say that, but one of them:) from Uruguay VERONICA TOLD US SHE RECEIVED HER ANSWER AND SHE IS READY TO BE BAPTIZED.  She is going to be getting baptized on Saturday!!!!!  You should have seen my mouth just drop. You know I was just freaking out!  I didn't hold it in for even a second.  She just thinks that I am such a goon.  I was just sooo happy for her.  Literally seeing her entire countenance change, I just KNOW how converted she is, and how ready she is for this. Watching Veronica go through her conversion process has been amazing.  We knocked into her, and the first day that we met her, she truly was so depressed.  She had a stroke about 10 years back, and has been unable to do all the things that she used to be able to do. Her teenage children have to do a lot more things for her now (I look up to them all so much), and it really took a toll on her physically and emotionally.  As well her father passed away 2 weeks after we met her.  But seeing her faith has just changed my whole view of this gospel as well, and what our Savior Jesus Christ can do.  She is going to be the strongest member.  Truly, the experience that I have had with Veronica is like nothing I have ever experience in my life.  I cannot even wait to just see her in heaven as well, free from her physical pains from this world, and just running and giving her the biggest hug.  Just the thought brings the biggest smile to my face.

But Friday we went and visited her, and she said that on Saturday she wanted to go and buy her first little skirt (: so that she could now come to church and feel beautiful and feel like she is part.  She looked so cute yesterday on Easter Sunday and was just glowing. I just love her!

This Saturday truly will be such a special day to have both Veronica and Maria’s baptisms. This really has been a month of miracles.  I am SO SO happy and feel so grateful.  Time is just going back too quick. I am so thankful for every min!

Thanks for all of your examples and prayers and love and goofy self’s. I miss you all and hope you all have the best week! BESITOS from FLORIDA !

xoxo
